PLACE Bucks are coupons that can be earned and redeemed for the purchase of eligible merchandise at all of our brands (The Children’s Place, Gymboree, Sugar & Jade or PJ Place) during designated promotional periods throughout the year. There is no limit to the number of PLACE Bucks coupons you can earn. You may only redeem up to twelve (12) PLACE Bucks coupons per order/transaction unless otherwise noted. How do I earn PLACE Bucks?

PLACE Bucks is earned during a designated promotional period – keep an eye out for date announcements via email, social media or our websites. For each eligible merchandise purchase of $20 or more in a single transaction of The Children’s Place, Gymboree, Sugar & Jade and PJ Place branded merchandise at participating U.S. or Puerto Rico stores, online at childrensplace.com or gymboree.com, or on The Children’s Place, Inc. official mobile apps, you will earn one (1) $10 PLACE Bucks to redeem toward your next qualifying purchase of $30 or more. If online or via the apps, orders must ship within the U.S. and Puerto Rico only. Must have a valid email address to receive PLACE Bucks coupons. See Privacy Policy.

To qualify for issuance of PLACE Bucks:

• Transaction must include a total $20 or more in eligible merchandise, net of gift card purchases, applicable discounts or promotions and before sales tax and shipping fees are applied.
• Transaction must be made at a participating U.S. or Puerto Rico store, online at childrensplace.com, gymboree.com, or on The Children’s Place, Inc. official mobile apps.
• There is no limit to the number of PLACE Bucks coupons you can earn.
• Qualifying amount threshold must be made in one transaction. Transactions may not be combined to meet $20 threshold.
• During Double PLACE Bucks events, for every $20 spent on eligible merchandise in a single qualifying transaction, you will earn (2) $10 PLACE Bucks coupons to redeem on your next in-store, online or official mobile app purchase.

Can I earn/redeem PLACE Bucks coupon(s) when I buy a gift card?

Gift card purchases will NOT earn PLACE Bucks coupons. PLACE Bucks coupons CANNOT be redeemed on gift card purchases.

When will I receive my PLACE Bucks coupons?

For in-store: Your PLACE Bucks coupon(s) will be sent via email after 2 days.

For online/mobile app purchases: PLACE Bucks coupon(s) will be emailed to you 2 days after your order has been shipped.

Earn Terms & Conditions

During the designated promotional period, each transaction that includes $20 or more of The Children’s Place, Gymboree, Sugar & Jade and PJ Place branded merchandise made at a participating store in U.S. or Puerto Rico, online at childrensplace.com or gymboree.com or on The Children’s Place, Inc. official mobile apps is eligible to earn a $10 PLACE Bucks coupon. If online or via the apps, order must be shipped within the U.S. and Puerto Rico. To qualify for issuance of PLACE Bucks, a single transaction must include $20 or more of eligible merchandise. Qualifying purchase amount is the transaction total for eligible merchandise and gift wrap products after any coupons or other discounts are applied, and minus any returns, refunds or credit adjustments, and does NOT include taxes, shipping, or purchases of gift cards. There is no limit to the number of coupons you can earn. Transactions may not be combined to meet $20 threshold. Must provide a valid email address to receive PLACE Bucks coupons. $10 PLACE Bucks coupon is redeemable toward a qualifying purchase of $30 or more during the designated redemption period. PLACE Bucks must be redeemed during the redemption period only and are subject to the terms and conditions specified thereon. Valid for one-time use only.

If you elect to return any eligible merchandise from a transaction that qualified for PLACE Bucks, the transaction total of eligible merchandise will be re-evaluated and PLACE Bucks will be adjusted or voided. PLACE Bucks may not be purchased, duplicated, traded or sold. Internet distribution strictly prohibited. Offer is not redeemable for cash or merchandise credit and has no cash value. Use of offer is acceptance of its terms. Employees of The Children’s Place do not qualify for issuance or redemption of PLACE Bucks. Offer may be cancelled or modified by The Children’s Place, Inc. at any time. Void where prohibited. Any violation of the above will result in deactivation of the affected PLACE Bucks.  

How do I redeem PLACE Bucks?

To qualify for redemption of PLACE Bucks:

• Transaction must include a total $30 or more in eligible merchandise, net of gift card purchases, applicable discounts or promotions and before sales tax and shipping fees are applied.
• In a single transaction, you may redeem one (1) PLACE Bucks coupon per $30 spent on eligible merchandise in such transaction (i.e.: two (2) PLACE Bucks may be used on a transaction that includes $60 in eligible merchandise), net of gift card purchases, applicable discounts or promotions and before sales tax and shipping fees are applied, but you may only redeem up to twelve (12) PLACE Bucks coupons per transaction.
• Your PLACE Bucks will be applied as a percentage discount on each item in your transaction, but will appear as a dollar amount applied
• Cannot be combined with any other offer except My Place Rewards Certificates and/or up to eleven (11) PLACE Bucks coupons. My Place Rewards certificates are applied first, before any PLACE Bucks coupons.
• Valid for one-time use only
• PLACE Bucks have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or merchandise credit. Not valid toward the purchase of gift cards, previously purchased merchandise, or credit card payments.
• Cannot be redeemed in a closing store, in conjunction with any in-store or online site-wide percentage-off event or on bulk purchases
• Not valid in conjunction with The Children’s Place associate discount

For in-store redemption: show it on your mobile phone (via email or online account) to the store associate during checkout.

For online/mobile app redemption: enter the coupon code at checkout. If you have more than one coupon, enter them individually by selecting ‘Apply’ after entering each code.

What happens to my PLACE Bucks when I return, exchange or price adjust an item?

Returns and exchanges are subject to discount taken at time of redemption. If you elect to return any eligible merchandise from a transaction that qualified for PLACE Bucks, the transaction total will be re-evaluated and PLACE Bucks will be adjusted or voided. PLACE Bucks coupons cannot be applied to previous purchases. You will receive the price paid (after the discount) on all returned or exchanged merchandise. Transactions involving PLACE Bucks are not eligible for price adjustments.

What if I lost my PLACE Bucks coupons?

PLACE Bucks may not be purchased, traded or sold, and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, expired, destroyed or corrupted. Photocopies not accepted. Internet distribution strictly prohibited.

My Place Rewards Certificates (e.g. $5, $10, $15, $20, etc.)

My Place Rewards Certificates are coupons that are earned after accumulating My Place Rewards points; 100 points will earn (1) $5 Reward. There is no limit to the number of certificates you can earn. You may only combine and redeem up to $200 My Place Rewards Certificates per order unless otherwise noted. It may not be combined with any other offer, except up to 12 PLACE Bucks coupons or 1 percentage-off coupon, unless otherwise noted. For in-store redemption, if the purchase amount is less than the total amount of Rewards Certificate(s) tendered, you surrender the full amount of the Rewards Certificate(s). For online redemption, order total after the coupon is applied must total at least $0.01 or more to complete the order. My Place Rewards certificates are not valid toward the purchase of gift cards. My Place Rewards certificates are not redeemable for cash or merchandise credit and have no cash value. Note: the discount will be applied as a percentage discount on each item.

My Place Rewards Credit Card Discounts

My Place Rewards Credit Card discounts may not be combined with any of the above offers except My Place Rewards certificates. To redeem, the My Place Rewards Credit Card must be used on the purchase.

Dollar Off Coupons (e.g. $10 off)

You may only redeem (1) dollar off coupon per order unless otherwise noted. It may not be combined with any other offer, except My Place Rewards certificates and a free shipping promotion (when applicable), unless otherwise noted. Dollar off coupons are not valid toward the purchase of gift cards. Note: the discount will be applied as a percentage discount on each item.

Dollar Off Threshold Coupons (e.g. $10 off $40)

You may only redeem (1) dollar off threshold coupon per order unless otherwise noted. To redeem, the dollar threshold must be reached before shipping and taxes are calculated. It may not be combined with any other offer, except My Place Rewards certificates and a free shipping promotion (when applicable), unless otherwise noted. Dollar off threshold coupons are not valid toward the purchase of gift cards. Note: the discount will be applied as a percentage discount on each item.

Percentage Off Coupons (e.g. 15% off, 20% off, 25% off, etc.)

You may only redeem (1) percentage off coupon per order unless otherwise noted. Please note that if you leave the shopping bag or checkout page after entering your code, it may need to be re-entered at checkout. Coupons and web codes offering discounts cannot be applied toward previously placed orders or prior purchases.

Help! My coupon was not applied to my order.

If your code is invalid or not working, you may see an error message.

Before contacting Customer Service, please verify the following first:

• Eligibility Requirements Not Met – Some codes may have minimum purchase thresholds, product exclusions or brand exclusions. Please verify the terms of the promotion disclaimer.
• Promotion Start Date – Codes will not be accepted until the start date of the promotion.
• Promotion End Date – Codes will not be accepted after 11:59 PM local time on the end date of the promotion.
• Invalid Code – If the code was retrieved from a third-party website, it may have been listed incorrectly or posted after the expiration date.
• One-Time Use Only – Some codes may only be used once. Please verify the terms in the promotion disclaimer.
• Cardholder Promotion – Some codes may only work if you use your My Place Rewards Credit Card as payment. Please verify the terms of the promotion disclaimer.
• Redeeming Rewards Certificates – You must be logged into your account in order to redeem your My Place Rewards Certificates.

Can I apply a coupon to the order I just placed?
